Exhibition Areas


1. The largest and most luxurious facility is the Jupiter Hall, which functions as the main auditorium and has an area of 850m2 with the capacity for l000+ delegates in theatre-style. It can be used for conferences, banquets, gala dinners, stage performances, dances, concerts, or as a playhouse for any event that requires a full-size professional stage (with cinemascope size screen) plus full behind-the- scenes infrastructure. It is equipped with the latest infrared simultaneous interpretation system for up to 8 languages and the most modern audio-visual devices. Other unique features include a ceiling height of 8 meters (ideal for 35mm or 16mm film projectors), its own splendidly spacious reception area, vehicular entrance, bar, catering services, toilets for disabled people and an underground tunnel linking the hall with the main building.

2. Situated on the 1st floor of the Convention Center is the Athena Hall with an area of 350m2. It can function as a secondary congress hall in a theatre or classroom-style, as an auxiliary exhibition area, either independently, or in conjunction with the Jupiter Hall and reception area (the facilities which constituted the original Center). This floor also has 3 breakout rooms that are also ideal for use by conference organizers or secretarial purposes.

3. The Salon des Roses is the largest of the new facilities with an area of S20m, has a capacity for 650 in theatre-style, can be subdivided into two totally separate units, and is fully equipped with an infrared simultaneous translation system for up to 7 languages and audio-visual devices. It can be used as a splendid ballroom or reception hall for special occasions utilizing its own food A beverage service. The pleasing decor incorporates elaborate rose motifs, Murano glass chandeliers and ingeniously concealed incidental lighting to create special moods or effects.

4. The Delphi Amphitheater has an area of 4SOm seating up to 550 theatre-style. It has a permanent stage and can be converted into a ballroom complete with dance floor. It can also be used for theatrical performances; concerts or dinner dances and has its own catering facilities. Equipment includes a simultaneous translation system for up to 3 languages, stage lighting and full audio-visual. Additional features include huge picture windows for natural lighting<~ and its own private entrance.

5. The Nafsica Hall with 220m seats a maximum of 280 and can be subdivided into 2 separate rooms, each with full audio-visual equipment, and can be used for exhibitions and smaller functions as board meetings or top-level gatherings. The partition walls are Custom-designed to the highest specifications for complete light and sound insulation so that there is no inconvenience or intrusion from the adjacent room.

6. The Nefeli Hall has an area of 165m' seating 200+ in theatre-style. It can be used for exhibitions or, as with Nafsica, be subdivided into 2 smaller rooms and has full audio-visual equipment.


Rodos Palace Lounge


7. A magnificent wide circular stairway leads to the 4 Executive Rooms, each with an area of 60m and a capacity of up to 60 people. They are ideal venues for smaller meetings, boardroom assemblies or for use as breakout or syndicate rooms.

8. The multi-purpose Apollo Room with an area of 250m can be used either as a meeting or exhibition area in total isolation from the rest of the Convention Center.

9. The Main Lobbies comprising the Entrance Foyer and Atrium have a total combined area of 1400m and serve as a link between the Center, the Hotel Tower, the Executive Tower and the ad- joining facilities. They have multiple functions and can be used as reception areas or exhibition space. Lobby I provides direct access to the VIP's Lounge & Hospitality Desk and the Business Center. The Atrium Lobby further links the halls, public areas and Executive Tower, and is luxuriously appointed with lounge areas, food & beverage outlets, and together with the Foyer Lobby can be used for cock- tail receptions of 3000+ or for the incidental use of exhibitors. Both lobbies have vehicular access, full catering facilities, the most up-to- date AV technical support, and are even suitable for the disabled.


Ball Room


Meanwhile, when the meetings are over or there is a lull in the discussions and it is time for a social element to take over, the Center offers delegates a luxurious environment and every comfort. A most pleasing feature of the Center is the rose motif, which has been incorporated into the decor theme throughout. This flower is a traditional emblem of Rhodes and characterizes the island's illustrious history; it perfectly complements the discreet opulence of the elegant furnishings, tasteful fabrics, ankle-deep carpets and soft-pink Iranian marble. In counterpoint are impressive works of art including tapestries and mosaics, which blend harmoniously to create a unique ambience and a relaxing atmosphere.
